Harvest Celebration 2024

This year’s Harvest will include an assembly for the children on Monday 30th September with Pastor Sam, when we will not only celebrate the harvest but also foster connections amongst community members, reminding us of the importance of supporting local farmers and sustainable practices.

Harvest Festival 2024:

For harvest this year, we are supporting the Black Country Food Bank, who help vulnerable individuals and families in crisis through the provision of three days emergency food supplies.

As a result, we would welcome donations into school from Monday 30 September to Friday 04 October. You child can bring this in to their classroom or you can leave them at the school office.

Currently, the Food Bank have the following shortages:

§ TINNED FRUIT

§ LONG GRAIN RICE

§ TINNED TOMATOES

§ TINNED MEAT (EG. CORNED BEEF)

§ MARMALADE

NON-FOOD SHORTAGES

§ WASHING-UP LIQUID

§ BODY WASH

§ SHAMPOO

§ DEODORANT

§ LAUNDRY TABLETS

§ SMALL PACKETS OF TISSUES

§ TOOTHPASTE & TOOTH BRUSHES

However, they would welcome any dried food/ tinned items that you may have.

This year, we would like to extend our support to our local community. If you know of someone, who would benefit from a food hamper, then please email the school office and we will liaise with you to arrange this.

Thank you for your continuing support,

Mrs K Hall
